Voice Requirements:

​The ladies chorus sings in 3 and 4 part harmony: 1st soprano, 2nd soprano, 1st alto and 2nd alto (SSAA). Opportunities are offered frequently to perform in small ensembles as well as singing with the full chorus.


Membership Requirements:

  • ​Choral Experience with singing a dedicated voice part
  • Basic understanding of music theory, and basic to intermediate sight reading skills
  • straight tone singing, ability to match pitch and blend with other singers
  • Attend at least one rehearsal a week
  • ​Learn own voice part, using mp3 files and sheet music prior to commencing rehearsals each term.
  • ​Singers stand for extended periods of time both in rehearsals and performances
  • ​Volunteer time to assist in some capacity throughout the year. there are many aspects of the chorus's operation where assistance is required
  • fundraising
  • ​pay membership dues each term​
